I am an artisan gnome designer, furniture artist, upcycler and DIY-er. I design and create endless themes of unique, handmade gnomes. I also give new life to ugly and/or outdated furniture.

I grew up in Michigan with my younger brother and hard-working mom. I grew tired of the long winters and snow, so at the age of 30 I packed up my life and moved out west to the desert.

I got a job bartending and fell in love with the industry, so I took the next step and landed a great job as a sales representative for the largest wine & liquor distributor in the country. After 11 years as a sales rep, I was injured on the job. To keep busy while I was on leave, I started sewing and making gnomes and painting furniture. One thing led to another, and I started getting custom orders, wholesale orders, doing art fairs, Home Shows and all kinds of events around the Valley. I made the easy decision to leave my career and follow my dream of becoming my own boss while remaining creative and having fun.

When I’m not creating, you can find me hanging out with my fiancé and our 3 sweet Pitbull girls, shopping with my momma, kayaking, hiking, traveling, cooking, camping or binge-watching true crime shows & stand up comedians.

I wake up every day excited to create, grow and make people smile with my “CreaShawns” !
